它们可是樱花的远房亲戚 ？
平常难见人影的路 也突然热闹了起来
人们纷纷的停下车子 为这花儿们留影
善解人意的花儿
为没带相机的人
铺地 遮阴
好让他们可以坐下
赏花 聊天

回复删除The name of the flowering tree is Tabebuia sp. Nice photos! Better be quick for those who want to take photos. The flowers don't last very long...

this place is close to the Sunway Tunas, Pantai Hospital area... i'm sure Penangite would know... Not Batu Maung la... another easier landmark is Giant Jalan Tengah, just next to this place. So let's go to see now!

回复删除Actually I noticed this flower trees for quite some time.
回复删除It is actually very beautiful, if Penang Goverment twist the idea fast enough; actually can plant these trees together in mass in a designated garden or park.
Then it will become a place of interest for both locals and foriegners to go for picnic and enjoy the flowers...
However the trees is a bit tall compare to the sakura. If biotechnology scientists can re-engineer it to be a shorter version then it will be best!!! Haha....
Hope Penang have such a park for all of us one day .

Penang Bird Park @ Seberang Jaya (aka opposite Sunway Carnival) also have a row of such trees.

If Pg MPPP knows how to generate income, could have plant these trees in the park and that will attract more tourist to visit this Pearl of Orient.
Anyway, that's my 5 cents worth of personal view.

回复删除还记得星期二我上班时突然被眼前的画境般的花给吸引着了～
突然在想，怎么槟城会有樱花？？过后再看仔细些，原来是类似樱花的花盛开和掉落～真的好美～～:-)
想要把这大自然之美给拍下来，但是手机像素不是很高就放弃了。。。呵呵呵。。。

回复删除这类花树在幼子的幼儿园附近的屋前有很多，花开时很美丽，唯独会大量的掉在地上。身为旁观者的我们常被如花海般的落花感动，唯苦了屋主，对着花海摇头叹息。
